Destiny is a first person RPG looter shooter prety much you run around using space magic and bullets to kill aliens and have a chance at them droping more powerful weapons and armor. You do this through many different game modes frome story missions to the final six man raid where you kill a powerfull enemy to get more loot. But there is't just PVE (player vs enemy) theres also PVP (player vs player) and it's called the crucible same concept except you shoot other players instead of AI enemys.
